Buono!’s Songs Aren’t By Tsunku, But Then, Who?

A lot of people are mistaking Tsunku for writinng Buono’s songs. Let’s clarify things a little bit, and I’ll be grading these lyrics composers and song composers as well. All of the composers and lyrics writers are from “Project! Hello“, and also the arrangers (what I mean is that the names were taken from there, or else I would have no idea that Tsunku did not create these songs).

Kawakami Natsuki (lyrics): This guy seems to write more of the happy, cheerful kind of songs, like “Minna No Tamago” and “Kokoro No Tamago”. His songs are pretty good, and so far, he’s written these songs: “Minna No Tamago”, “Co. No. Michi”, “Kokoro No Tamago”, “Cafe Buono!”, “Last Forever”, “Hajimari No Uta”, “Janakya Mottainai”, and “Lady Panther. Also, his lyrics seem to be on the side of “love” and “friendship”, at least from what I see. I’ll give him an A, because I don’t like some of his creations, that get boring and weird, like “Minna No Tamago” and “Lady Panther”, which actually might not be so bad, but both have dull and odd lyrics.

Iwasato Yuuho (lyrics): The creations this guy seems to make are rockish, but also still kind of light and nice. I think more of the good songs come from him, but don’t forget, since he’s the lyrics writer, it’s not the sound of the song, it’s the lyrics we’re looking for. He seems to go more on the “confidence” or the “tough” lyrics side, and from “Gachinko De Ikou”, sometimes “dreams”, “courage”, “friendship”, “love”, and all kinds of “various” stuff. So, here’s the lyrics creations he’s made so far: “Gachinko De Ikou”, “Honto No Jibun”, “Renai Riders”, “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!”, “Baketsu No Mizu”, “Garakuta No Yume”, “Rock No Kamisama”, “My Love”, and “Kimi Ga Ireba”. This guy will get an A+.

Masanori Ouchi (lyrics): Although he hasn’t made much, I think he could be one of the best lyrics writers that have made these songs yet. Because he’s created “Internet Cupid”, and the lyrics are super cute. But his only creation is “Internet Cupid”, anyways. I’m definitely grading this guy an A-.

Hashimoto Atsushi (lyrics): Here’s another one time best person yet. Although he’s simply not quite as good at Masanori Ouchi or Iwasato Yuuho, his lyrics are descriptive and calm. He also has only one song, called “Hoshi No Hitsuji Tachi”. This song, “Hoshi No Hitsuji Tachi”, is more on the lyrics side than the song side, so I like it even better than I usually do to these types of songs. I’ll grade him a B+.

Miura Tokuko: Yet again, this is another one shot lyrics person (don’t blame me for saying if this person is a boy or a girl because I really don’t know for any of them). This lyrics writer has written “Muteki No Power”, an okay song. The lyrics aren’t that great, and are choppy and pretty much the ordinary, normal Hello! Project type. If I didn’t know any better from “Project! Hello“, I would have thought this was a Tsunku created song. I grade this writer a B.

C. Piece: The writer isn’t very good, but I’ll say the writer is okay. The lyrics are fine, but they’re typical, anime known ones. Like, “Oh, I love everyone!!”, or “hippie” lyrics, at the best. This writer ahs written “Minna Daisuki”, and is graded, by me, a C+.

AKIRASTAR: Is this composer a company? Anyways, the songs they make are rockish and upbeat, so I like them. I would give them an A+, especially for making “Honto No Jibun” and “Renai Riders”. Considering everything they made, here they are: “Renai Riders”, “Honto No Jibun”, “Minna Daisuki”, “Nakimushi Shonen”,  and “Rock No Kamisama”.

Tsunku: He’s done “Muteki No Power”, but that’s really it. For all of the songs he’s ever done, you can absoplutely guess what his grade is.

Okay, this list is getting way too long. There’s, like, sixty different composers! What did I tell you? Tsunku definitely couldn’t make so many awesome songs. Well, he did, but these songs are preciously better. So, anyways, I’m signing off. See you!

Why do I always make her look so much OLDER?

A Special Japanese VS. America Rant/H! P Kids English Names

So I was thinking about Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, and Green Day, and thinking about how the English would sound in Japanese. Fans are always complaining about how terrible music sounds in English, but are they really right? No, they’re not. This whole “Japan is so much better than America” business makes me really mad, for plenty of reasons.

Okay, so you “like” Japan. I get that, because there’s some things to hate about it, but a lot of nice things to like about it, too. But going farther and saying that America is a horrible country isn’t bad. Saying that Green Day’s “American Idiot” proves it doesn’t work either, because there’s a “Canadian Idiot”, “Korean Idiot”, “Chinese Idiot”, and so on, even though they’re cover songs from fans. America has a majority of overweight children, sure, but that doesn’t mean that every single kid is overweight, right? That’s like saying every single Japanese kid has monstrous teeth. It also makes a stereotype for both of us- Americans are cheaters and stupid, while Japanese are high and noble- but this isn’t true. This whole big article says that the majority of Japanese think that Americans are high and noble, while Americans think that Japanese are cheaters and stupid. That’s weird, isn’t it?

Besides, I don’t see any connection of love going towards India, where probably half the stuff in the world has been invented, although dumb Europe claimed the stuff for themselves. Almost everything from Japan has been copied directly from China, including the language, and even the music and art, which is cherished so much. Why do people know this, yet like the other country that has copied so much?

Anime, as you probably know, is the main formation of attractiveness from Japan. Weeaboos and Wapanese people aren’t very bad things, they’re just different people than most Americans, which sometimes is kind of cool. However, sometimes they get to a point where nothing seems to get into their heads of English, which is also bad, because they only know the following words in Japanese. Here they are in the number of times they are used from the most to the least common said words of the Weeaboos and the Wapanese people.

1. Kawaii – A person is cute, a shoelace is cute, a barkchip is cute. What kind of world is this? Whenever a real Japanese person says “kawaii”, the Weeaboo or Wapanese starts saying, “Totemo kawaii! Totemo kawaii!” It’s really annoying, especially when you’re in the middle of class.

2. Sakura- Um, WHAT? Like, they probably learned that word from Cardcaptor Sakura. It gets very awkward to see your friend start pointing at an apple tree and say, “Sakura! Sakura!”. Because “sakura” means cherry blossoms, and it doesn’t even mean tree. It plainly means cherry blossoms.

3. Anime- No explanation needed. Weeaboos and Wapanese people commonly know what this word means because it’s what they are addicted to. Besides, this was originated in China, right?

4. Manga- The cartoon form of anime. This was also invented in China, and devoloped in Japan, and also, right?

Other words with no explanations: GOHAN (rice), YATTA (yay), BAKA (stupid), PINKU (pink), AI (love), HAI (yes), IIE (no), MECCHA (robot).

Examples of Weeaboo and Wapanese: Magibon (Mr. Iran, MRirian), Applemilk88, MagicalPockyUsagi

Okay, so, to get to the point, after a very long argument about all of this stuff, here’s the names for English Hello! Project Kids members.

Airi- Arianna

Maimi- Mimi

Saki- Sally

Erika- Erica

Chinami- Sharroll

Chisato- Stella

Risako- Renee

Mai- May

Maiha- Maya

Maasa- Mara

Kanna- Kienna

Yurina- Yasmine

Miyabi- Mina

Momoko- Moma

Buono! 2 Reviews

It’s seems like, as a blogger, I’ve failed my job. I’ve failed to beat the other bloggers to create the first post mainly about Buono! 2. But never mind, and let’s get straight to the grading. My headphones are currently not working, so I’m downloading the songs onto my iPod before I listen. I also looked especially at this blog before rating the songs. Appreciate it! Download here! XD

product200902011139081 buono2limitedcoversmall1

1. Early Bird

When bloggers said this was a happy, giddy song, I got happy. I mean, I like Buono!’s energetic songs. In fact, I DID LIKE IT. It was great! Early Bird is refreshing and I feel like making a fandub of it right now. =D I liked Airi a lot, like always, too. The chorus was cute, too, although I feel that the squealing was a little bit too much. The chimes were awesome, and there’s tons of solo lines included. It feels like the whole album in one. Well, isn’t that awesome?

2. Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!

I’m not a big fan of this song, especially after listening to Early Bird. It’s too, just, well, calm for me. Especially after Early bird! Okay, enough with that. Anyways, I thought it wasn’t such a Buono! song. I mean, hey! Buono is my favorite group, and I should know. But, going on with the next song, it doesn’t really fit that well with the others. This is supposed to be a rockish album, right?

3. Kira Kira

The title isn’t promising. It’s kind of, you know, normal. Like those old anime character names, like “Sakura” and “Yuki”. It’s just, well, normal. The song isn’t anything to get excited about, either. It’s special in a way, but only for Hello! Project. For Buono!, it’s completely normal. The chorus is slower than the solo lines in the beginning, but I, as always, liked it a lot more, too. Anyways, I think it’s good enoug for me, but it could have done a little bit better. The yelling and screaming at the end, too, was also kind of not so energetic. Like, Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!, it’s not suited for the next song so well. But moving on, let’s get to the next song, speaking of mixtures.

4. Shoushitsuten Vanishing Point

This is a slightly slower, and a little more minor song than the others, and I like it. It would have been a great B SIDE to Co. No. Michi, as well. Although it has a bit of rock in it, it’s still calm and taking it slowly. This is one of my op songs from the album, after Early Bird, and Kira Kira, but only SO FAR. I’m sure it will get better as I view more songs after these songs that I already viewed and rated.

5. Rottara Rottara

I never really liked this song to a point where it would be played a million times on my iPod. In fact, I don’t even have it on there. It’s not my ideal song, and definitely not my favorite. It’s not hyper, yet it’s not calm. I don’t like it in between, although I know for many people this is their favorite song. But still, it doesn’t fit with the others, like a lot of the other songs I have seen so far.

6. Co. No. Michi

This is one of my favorites, because of the calmness and minor notes, yet how steady and hyper sounding it was. The dance is also pretty cool, although since this is an album, you can’t see it. However, I would say this is a pretty nice song and I would recommend it for the people who would buy this album. But keep in mind that it does get a little annoying after a while which includes the dance.

7. Minna Daisuki

This is your typical anime song. It’s also a typical Hello! Project song, which makes it obvious that I don’t really like it, even after doing a whole fandub section on it, and I don’t think Buono! sounded good in it anyhow. Anyways, I don’t like how forced and how clashing it sounds at the beginning. It’s like Buono! absolutely has to be really cute, and that’s as annoying as the whole song. But it’s not that bad, just all squealy, and squeaky.

8. I NEED YOU

I don’t like this song very much for a lot of reasons. So I’m just listening, to the smooth music, and then, suddenly, the music turns all rockish and fast. That’s the chorus, and it sounds nice, but it’s all loud and has a terrible transition. Another reason is that Momo gets a lot of lines, as well, which is annoying, and Airi only gets a few. Momo doesn’t even sound nice in this one, like she usually does! It’s not fair!

9. Gachinko De Ikou

This is one of my favorite songs from Buono!, because it’s jumpy and danceable. It was a great song to dance to and now it’s one of my favorite songs to sing to. Overall, I really like the song. Even Momo sounds okay here, and Miya sounds fabulous! Airi sounds great, as well, which makes everything better, as well. So, basically, you get the point, right?

10. You’re My Friend

This isn’t exactly pop, and it’s probably not rock. Is it rock pop? Because it’s soft and light, which means it’s rock pop, right? Anyways, this is also another great song. It’s slow, yet has a lot of nice sounds in it, and everyone sounded awesome together. After I NEED YOU and Kira Kira, everyone figured that we needed a big break. So, I recommend this song, too. So far, Early Bird and You’re My Friend are both winning together! I’m keeping this on my iPod.

11. OVER THE RAINBOW

This is song is nice and calm, and it’s also a cool thing to hear. I also liked the beginning, which was neat, with either Miya singing. She can really hit the high notes, and so can Airi. Momo is starting to sound right, and blends in well with Airi and Miya, and I can barely tell the difference. The chorus is beautiful and pretty to listen to. You get the point, you should listen to the song right now.

12. Goal

Who was singing at the beginning? If it was Momo, go listen to the song right now. She sounds REALLY DEEP. I mean, like SUPER DEEP!! In fact, this was an incredible, rockish song. aIt sounded minor at first, and made a breakthrough somewhere in the beginning, through a great transition. Then, it finally appealed to me. This song will stay on my iPod forever! It should be in a PV, because it’s so awesome!!

Recommened: Early Bird, Gachinko De Ikou, OVER THE RAINBOW, You’re My Friend, Co. No. Michi, Goal

Winner: Goal

Runner Ups: Early Bird, You’re My Friend

Berryz PV Rankings!

I thought I’d even up to Celestia’s Berryz PV Rankings, which interestingly, were not what I was thinking. In fact, to find that Koi No Jubaku was even at the bottom of the list was way off of what I was thinking.

19. Gag 100Kai Bun Aishite Kudasai – It’s TOO pink. I also thought no one looked considerably nice here, either. I find it terribly irritable, too, that there’s barely a background.

18. Special Generation – I sincerely despise the twirling blue background. It makes me dizzy. I also would like to add that the PV isn’t a PV, it’s more of a dance shot. Why? The only scenes in this one is where there’s some girls singing and cirlces that appear out of nowhere. It’s not fair to anyone, and certainly not to Berryz Koubou.

17. 21ji Made No Cinderella – I also despise this one. The song is catchy, but the outfits don’t mach the background. Perhaps it’s supposed to be that way, because the PV is supposed to be different from the past Berryz Koubou PV series, but somehow, it doesn’t appeal to my eyes. This was my fourth Berryz Koubou video that I ever saw, and I didn’t find anything interesting in it, either. Like Special Generation and with what I wrote above, all it’s about is dance shots and close ups. That’s all there is to it. In fact, it’s only a dance shot, which is even worse.

16. Munasawagi Scarlet – I find that the red is too much for my eyes, and the blue sashes on the outfits have nothing to do with red. It’s amazing how a great song is ruined by watching the whole video of it.

15. Anata Nashi De Wa Yukenai – As it’s the first single, I think it’s supposed to be, but I can’t help saying it. It’s plain.

14. Koufuku Kangei – It’s not that bad, but I don’t find much interest in girls offering me food and dancing around. There’s no close ups that catch and pull me in, either, so don’t think about it too hard.

13. Kokuhaku No Funsui Hiroba – It’s not that bad, either, but I also don’t find much in girls getting off a bus and staring out of windows. There’s also too much Momoko, Miyabi, Risako, and Yurina viewing here. I barely see Maasa, although there’s quite a few of Saki. Chinami is almosty completely hidden. It’s injustice.

12. Dakishimete Dakishimete – This new single isn’t bad at all, even though it’s not exactly the best. The song is quite good, and the dance shot, background, and close ups are appealing, as well. I just don’t find the hairstyles so nice, because Risako looks almost half bald on one side of her head. The make up isn’t bad, and I don’t know why I can’t find this single to go into the top PV listings, but I don’t find it as interesting, or even nearly as interesting, as the PV is to the song and the catchy, fun to do, and exciting dance shots.

11. Madayade – Yet again, this is a newer single. I find it nice that Berryz Koubou is getting more scenes, but Berryz Koubou should be getting even more than people serving trays or coffee and posing in front of their staff members. It’s awkward and funny to watch.

10. Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance – I only havn’t put this way down at the bottom of my list only because it has a nice cover and a good hairstyles. I don’t think there’s anything else that sticks out to me in this single, though!

9. Tsukiatteru No Kataomoi – I have no interest in girls wrapped around in silky white cloth, but I have to say, they are good actresses, and do have some taste in their acting. It was good, and the dance was nice, although the song was somewhat better.

8. Waracchou No Boyfriend – I dislike the song quite a lot, and the dance shots are nothing. But there’s a lot of cuteness in this single, and I liekd it overall!

7. Nachouu Koi No Yatteruu You Know – The electronic effects were great, and the close ups in bright blue boxes stood out to me. I found a little bit of interest in girls dialing electronic blue cellphones, but mostly the shiny, blue effect drew me in, and the dazzling hairstyles.

6. Fighting Pose Wo date Ja Nai – I liked the making of a lot, and when Momoko fell into the swimming pool, it was funny and surprising. I put this single as one of my favroites, but the swimming pool effects, and the “Are you a celeb or not?”, picking out clothes, posing girls, and all of the sparkly things were quite nice.

5. Jiriri Kiteru – The acting was incredibly on here, and Saki, Miyabi, and Risako did it well.

4. Koi No Jubaku – Perhaps it’s just the song that makes me put this up so high, but I definitely liked it. It was quite cool to see Maiha again, too, and the hairstyles were pure win. The outfits, backgrounds, and acting was also hit quite well, too.

3. Dschinghis Khan – I agree with Celestia wholeheartedly here, so go check back on her report to see what she said on it.

2. Very Beauty – I don’t know why this ranks so high, either, but I really liked the nice effects, and Momoko looking and pretending to be looking into a mirror when she’s really just looking at her hand at the beginning was nice. There’s so much Risako and Miyabi here that I can barely stand it, but Yurina is beautiful, too.

1. Piriri To Yukou – The girls pushing each other off their bus seats at the beginning was cute and playful. It was was open and friendly to see them just being themselves, and getting of buses, dancing, having close up shots, playing outside, and what not. The making of was wonderful as well.

So there you have it. Piriri To Yukou and Very Beauty are the two top winners, unlike Celestia’s, which were Dschinghis Khan and Jiriri Kiteru. Everyone has different opinions, though. Thank you!

Perfume = Perfect

I’m surprised, even though I discovered Perfume quite a while ago with Polyrhythm, that I have never called it my favorite group. I truly started loving it when I got Dream Fighter stuck into my head, and the fact that they worked for about eight years before becoming the awesome group that they are now. It’s amazing that they started when they were eleven years old, and even were independent for a while before being signed to a major label.

jpop-group-perfume-68985 6a00b8ea067a57dece00e398d2c6d60005-320pi

By far, I love Dream Fighter and Twinkle Snow Powdery Snow the most. I dislike Vitamin Drop the most, also, for some odd reason. I think they took the right way when they decided to do techno Japanese Pop instead of normal Japanese Pop. It’s too old to listen too, and I just have to admit that I don’t really like Hello! Project music. I like it only because of the former, golden age music, but now, starting from the birth of Hello! Project Kids.

Dakishimete Dakishimete – the GOOD and the BAD – Reviews

Aha! I knew that after Naichau Kamo, something good had to happen. But here it is! XD Dakishimete Dakishimete, by Berryz Koubou. Of course, I havn’t found the covers released yet, though.

img20081013053622676 article200806281659255917

Has Tsunku been reading fellow blogger’s blogs about his own creation? It seems to me that even Miyabi, Risako, and Momoko have the same amount of lines as Chinami, Saki, Maasa, and Yurina. I am, straight away, going to reward everyone a gold medal on their talent. Every member, specifically Yurina, Miyabi, and Chinami, shines out to me. I’ll reward them in a simple way, though.

Beauty: Yurina definitely wins here. Her hair simply rocks, and her clothes are stunning. I think this might be a time where I actually mistake Yurina for Sayumi, which is a huge mistake. I love Yurina’s black and white clothing designs and her dark mascara. This is a time where Yurina is 100 and the others are all at 80.

I also need to comment on Chinami. Even though it’s a rather upbeat but dark song, Chinami’s still smiling! I love her smile! It’s really bright and cheerful. Her hair is kind of odd, but still beautiful.

I want to give a down side to Risako because her hair is swept all over to one side, and it looks like she’s bald on one side of her head that way. It’s a big bad thing, but I’ll get over it soon.

Singing: I thought that the most emotion came from Miyabi, Yurina, and Momoko, who are typcially the best singers, anyways. Maasa had a very nice, toned down voice, and I wish I knew that before, because it’s quite soothing. Saki was also good, but I thought Momoko shined a lot on the singing level. Her voice is much deeper than it is in other songs, so I liked that, too.

Risako is getting better to me, somehow, but I still think her voice is forced and too high for herself. The parts that she gets are low, so there’s no reason to get all squakt at one part or another. I thought this might be the best she’s sung, though, because she never really sings that well.

Dancing: It’s hard to point out, because there’s no dance shot, and each girl is trained to dance the same as the others, which I just noticed from watching the dance practice videos.I’m thinking I’ll give it to Saki, anyways, because she always dances well.

Background: I don’t remember if it was the silver strips from Pepper Keibu or a plain black background, but I thought some of the clothes kind of blended in, and that reminded me a lot about Resonant Blue.

Music: I love Berryz Koubou’s upbeat songs. They’re energetic and powerful. I love how Miyabi just seems to hang into the music, and how Momoko kind of sticks out. It’s really fun and cool to listen to.

Complaints:

1. Risako’s hair – It makes her look bald on one side of her head.

2. Line share – I’m pretty sure it was even and I should be happy, but there’s one part where I saw Risako hogging a ton of lines. I think it was at the end, but she was the only one singing for while.

3. Video share – Risako hogged the whole video. The whole thing was focused on Miyabi and Risako, who always got lines, because there’s one part at the beginning where everyone gets a solo but one person. At first, it was Momoko who didn’t get a line, and then Maasa. Hasn’t Maasa lost enough lines already?

4. The outfits – They were nice, but some were blended into the background.

Overall: I liked the video, and it made me recall to Naichau Kamo and Pepper Keibu for some odd reason. Infact, lots of Morning Musume videos resemble Dakishimete Dakishimete. I look forward to reading reviews other than mine on this song. The music was great.

Shugo Shugo! Shugo! Chara Egg Single Two

If you’re interested in Shugo! Chara, it’s very likely that you have seen the new opening, called Shugo Shugo, by Shugo! Chara Egg. It’s not officially released, but I just have watched episode sixty eight of Shugo! Chara and immediately knew that the voicesd in the opening song were from Shugo! Chara Egg. I heard mostly Maeda Yuuka and Wada Ayaka, which somehow surprises me. Wada Ayaka never had much of a voice, even though Maeda Yuuka wasn’t so much of a surprise. After all, she is the most popular girl of the group.

The song isn’t a surprise. It’s pretty upbeat, and there’s a nice, ordinary tune to it. I think it makes a good opening to an anime, and Shugo! Chara Egg is going quite well. I do wish that Buono! would release something after Co. No. Michi again, even though they just released it. There should be a new Shugo! Chara ending soon, preferably Co. No. Michi.
